AW! I went to the UMCC (=U-M Children's Center) and I had Joan when I was in Kindergarten! Nice to see she's still going strong 15 years later... *feels warm and fuzzy*
Despite all the warm fuzzies, I'm going to break down this party and use this time to say that the elementary and secondary ed majors in my classes have been, on the whole, some of my worst students. I don't think this used to be the case (so no digs on Joan) but sometimes I get cold sweats at night thinking about how someday all of my students will be products of an educational system run (from preschool to graduation!) by people to whom I currently give D's.
