On Vacation w/ a TV that doesn't receive calls

Handwritten stuff just has so much more character than printed documents.

My translation:

"On Vacation...
-I don't do anything except tan.
-I am not stressed at all.
-No one talks to be because my phone* does not work when I am not in the United States."

This person also took the time to translate "I <3" to "J'aime"

*Edit: As Srah points out in the comments, télé is actually the word for television, not phone. I'm guessing her TV doesn't receive calls inside the United States either.

In #3 she probably meant phone but she said TV. I couldn't figure out how people were contacting her on her TV.

Ha, I don't know how I missed that. Noted.

It actually looks like she wrote I <3 Jamie, not J'aime.

I was going to say what Liz said. Since Jamie is an actual name, and J'aime would be butchered.

I'm going with "J'aime" as well.

What's strange is that she went and corrected the possessive... it is now the female "ma." This implies she actually meant television. WTF?

I like the handwriting a lot.

DEBATE ENSUE!!!

ha.

anyhow, seems to me, the way it's written, that it's J'aime.

Otherwise "Christina" just hanging out there. It seems more likely that she was like "I'm gonna translate everything on this page" and then put that under the heart to translate it.

Otherwise it reads like I heart Christina Jaime.

I actually think it's Jamie. I just wanted to show you some love. And be mind-boggling.

(Actually, I just TYPO'D that first comment. Sorrh ahfb.)

I think its Jaime. and really, the Chrsitina just hanging there is not so unusual. As a girl, I definitely doodle my name more than anything else, so that's not strange at all.

i'm definitely still with jamie. ahfb, note that it is spelled jamIe, not jaIme. maybe she was doodling a note with her friend christina or jamie and told her that she loved her as well as herself. or maybe she loves a guy named jamie. if she can sort of write three sentences in french without making major mistakes, she would know how to spell j'aime, it's like the first verb you learn in french class.
i'm glad this is being analyzed.

When I read it, I thought she had just written her name, and then next to it she wrote "I <3 Jamie"

She could be in love with a guy named Jaime. Not Jamie!

She wrote "Jamie" not "Jaime" ... look at the placement of the 'i' ... I'm going with the "Jamie" theory.

Where was this found? I was in the fishbowl Thursday and there was a girl sitting next to me talking on her phone in French, trying to spell something with an 'r' in it... (I can't remember what the whole thing was)
